Our breeds’ official sale is being held as part of the Traditional and Native Breeds Show and Sale on the 13th (show day) and 14th (sale day) September in Melton Mowbray cattle market. Anyone nervous about buying or selling who would like to do so please contact Lyn Arrowsmith who will help you – info@raskelfrarebreeds.co.uk. It is a great opportunity to buy unrelated stock and meet other breeders. You can help both our breeds by buying registered stock and continuing to register their progeny in the future.
The Soay and Boreray Sheep Society AGM is being held on the 12th October at Temple Newsam, Leeds, West Yorkshire. We hope some of the northern breeders will come and join us. More details to follow.
Gransden Show is being held on 28th September in Great Gransden, Cambridgeshire – this is our only show with separate breed classes for Soays and Borerays.
